Continued adverse weather conditions at Nadi Airport have resulted in the cancellation of this morning’s NZ56 Auckland – Nadi service and this afternoon’s return NZ57 Nadi – Auckland service.
This afternoon’s NZ754 Auckland – Nadi service due to depart at 1.45pm and NZ755 Nadi – Auckland due to depart at 7.50pm remain on schedule, subject to weather.
As advised by the airport and Fiji Government, no passengers are currently permitted to arrive on flights INTO Nadi until further notice. This means Air New Zealand will operate flights empty up to Nadi so as to be able to assist stranded passengers to get out of Fiji.
Air New Zealand will put on extra services to and from Nadi to assist passengers as soon as the weather improves and the Fiji government lifts its current directive.
