UPDATED 2200 hrs, 2 April.
The Fiji Government this afternoon lifted its embargo on passengers travelling to Nadi, Fiji.
In order to be able to transport more passengers both to and from Fiji tomorrow, Air New Zealand has cancelled the scheduled A320 service Auckland – Nadi – Auckland (NZ752/NZ753) which was due to depart at 7:45am tomorrow morning and will replace it with a larger Boeing 777-300 aircraft. This doubles the number of seats available in both directions.
The larger aircraft will now operate as NZ6802 and depart Auckland at 1:00pm. The return leg from Nadi to Auckland will depart Nadi tomorrow at 5:30pm.
All passengers who were booked to travel on NZ752 and NZ753 tomorrow morning have been rebooked on the later service, other affected passengers are requested to contact our call centre to be booked on next available flights.
