The Air New Zealand Aviation Institute Airline Customer Service course has proven to be a very popular course for students looking to enter the aviation industry.
The 17 week course helps students to explore the various career paths within the aviation industry and make informed decisions once they receive their qualification. The course was particularly popular amongst a group of sisters who saw it as the perfect stepping stone for a career in Air New Zealand. Tara Phillips was the first of 3 sisters to complete the course and shared her experiences of the training programme with her older sister Kiri. Soon after, Kiri also completed the Airline Customer Service programme at the Aviation Institute and both sisters are now working with Air New Zealand – Tara is a Flight Attendant and Kiri is an Airline Assistant based at Auckland International Airport. Their younger sister Paige has just completed the course and is eager to follow her two sisters into a career in Air New Zealand.
With the support of their parents, Christina and Dennis, all 3 sisters hope to one day be flying together as flight attendants. As Tara puts it “a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” and in the case of the Phillips family no better step could have been taken than enrolling in the Airline Customer Service programme.
The next Airline Customer Service Course starts on the 25th June – Placement Tests are being held on the 14th & 19th June at the Air New Zealand Aviation Institute, Rennie Drive, Auckland from 1000 -1230.
