I received some amazing entries into the competition to design a spectacular outfit for me to wear
at the 2012 World of WearableArt Awards Show!
It was so hard to chose the winner. There were so many amazing outfits! I picked out a bunch of highly commended outfits plus three finalists and of course there can only be one grand winner and that is….. Roban Jury from Kawakawa!

Roban’s description of my outfit:
Spida Fairy lives with the Spider Chrysanthemums and dresses in camouflage to protect her from predators. Her exotic red dress has orange tipped petals that curl at the ends and sway about her body. A gossamer fine half-slip in apple green swirls about her legs. Her unusual translucent wings shimmer in shades of green and red. She wears a green cloche hat with a perky stalk. Her dainty green slippers have subtle red hues and long pointed toes. Curly leaves circle her ankles and the slippers are finished with red button seeds.
